KMyMoney 0.8.8 Notes

The KMyMoney development team are pleased to announce the release of their latest update to the stable branch of the product, known as Release 0.8.8.

As might be expected of such a mature release, there are few major changes; these are detailed in the Change Log, and include mostly updated translations, plus an initial version of support for import of GnuCash version 2 files.

Many enhancements have also been made in issues of internationalization. In addition to a number of new and updated translations, several internal changes have been made to enable more comprehensive translations to be produced.

Changes in 0.8.8

  • Use two digit month and day values in QIF export
  • Fix QIF export problem where it was hampered by having the KDE locale's negative sign position set to "Parens Around"
  • Detect automake 1.10
  • Force trust-model when writing GPG encrypted file
  • improved GnuCash importer to support version 2.2 files
  • Modified OFX importer to use Qt::UTC as dateformat
  • Force usage of GPG agent if environment variable GPG_AGENT_INFO is filled
