Helping debug the code

Even if you don't 'program' and you can't read code, you can still help debug KMyMoney. We need people to try the CVS version of KMyMoney and simply let us know when you discover odd behavior, or find something that could be improved. Please see the testing page for more information on how to do this.

If you do have some programming knowlege you may be able to fix the problems you find and send us patches. KMyMoney is written in C++ so at least a basic understanding of C++ is definitely helpful. It would also be a good idea to become familiar with KDE/i Qt programming.

If you want to help debug the development version of KMyMoney you will need to have the CVS version of KMyMoney installed as well as the appropriate development headers. See the requirements section for more details.

You can submit patches to the developers mailing list and we will apply them for you.
